HARD COUNTRY MAPLE CHARACTERISTICS

Exactly the same species as Hard White Maple, the only difference is Country Maple contains the dark brown heartwood as well as pale white sapwood - it hasn't been manually sorted for solid white color. Known for its durability and strength. It has excellent turning properties , a fine, even texture, a natural luster. Somewhat difficult to work due to high surface hardness. Paints and finishes very well

COLOR RANGE
Creamy white to yellowish or pale tan with dark brown bands and streaks. The variety of inconsistent color gives it a rustic, or "country," appearance.

WHAT'S THE TREE LIKE?
Also called Hard Rock Maple or Sugar Maple. Produces sweet sap used to make maple syrup. Matures at heights of 90-120 feet with a trunk 24-36.

We do not carry any inventory of butcher block countertops as we only custom build countertops to customer supplied specification which means you supply us with your specifications and we build your tops.

We can build just about any style, shape or size you need up to and in some cases over 8 feet in length and 50 inches in width.

The sizes we list above in the drop down menu are simply "Our Most Common" sizes and do not require a quote submittal for purchase. Simply select your size, detail, finishing method and proceed to checkout. Upon checkout you shall receive an e-mail order confirmation and your project build schedule. In most cases projects are completed within 3-5 weeks. We also contact you by phone to verify your order is correct and all dimensions are accurate before we start to build your butcher block.
